         <description><![CDATA[<p>I spend 1 hr 15 mins of jazz on Monday, 2 hr 45 mins of modern and ballet on Tuesday, 2 hr 30 mins of ballet and pointe on Thursday, and then on Saturday, I have company class from 10-11 and then Nutcracker rehearsals with the latest ending at 5 pm. Every night, before I go to bed I stretch and do 30 crunches. On the weekends, I sometimes go for walks on the green way with my mom, and/or exercise at the YMCA.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I take vitamins every day to make sure I don't get sick and to stay healthy with all of the nutrients I need. I listen to music as much as possible because it makes me happy and releases the stress that builds up throughout the day. I wash my hands to stay sanitized and clean, so I won't get sick. I make sure I get up to 8 hours of sleep each night so I can wake up feeling refreshed.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I take vitamin D, calcium, and glucosamine pills every day and a tablespoon of Source of Life Red Liquid (a vitamin supplement drink) every other day. I drink coconut water, with no added sugar, that contains a good source of potassium. Since I do not eat meat, I need to make sure that I get enough protein every day; so for breakfast, I drink a protein shake that has 17 grams of protein in it. I need to make sure I drink plenty of water, due to the fact that I exert myself so much in dance.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When I was was a toddler, I was fed, basically, mush. When I was younger, I had to have extra calcium, so my teeth and bones would grow strong and healthy. Now that I am a teenager, I need more iron in my diet. Since I dance a lot, my bones will need more calcium for my bones to stay strong. When I get older, I will need to take even more calcium and Vitamin D so I won't get bone loss, and become too frail.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Eating organic and natural foods are ideas that have become more popular to the general public.  Red wine is trendy because it contains elements that are beneficial to people. Technology has influenced how people exercise. Now everyone has apps and DVDs on exercises and workouts that will benefit to their overall fitness and wellness. Social media has influenced young girls to be fake due to all of the photoshop in magazines that say, "that's how women are supposed to look." Many teens have lack of sleep due to too much time spent on the computer before bed. Electronics are trending in the younger generation, effecting sleep patterns and their overall health.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If I didn't know what nutrients I needed, then I wouldn't know how to keep my body healthy. For example, two years ago, I became very light headed and had a lot of blurred and tunnel vision. When I went to the doctor, they told me my Vitamin D levels were low. Now that I know what nutrients are important for me, I can control how much I put into my body and stay healthy.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Obesity is a major problem in the U.S. because people don't know how to eat healthy. Obesity can cause diabetes and joint pain. Other eating disorders, like anorexia, causes peoples to feel light headed and weak. Both of these problems are issues that need to be addressed and people need to learn how to eat the right foods at the right times.</p>]]></description>
