But without it, there would be no life on Earth.Ozone keeps ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun from reaching Earth.

The ozone layer is inportent because if we don't have it it is going to cause people to get sick because of the UV rays like skin cancer.


he thinning of the ozone layer has created health problems for Australians. They are used to sunbathing and enjoying outdoor activities. As a result, they are often exposed to harmful rays from the sun. In recent years, skin cancer rates have risen sharply.
