How to train students to use these Generative AI tools safely (and with integrity)?

I think this topic is very important, instead of thinking about how to detect cheating, and fear of the risks, we can focus more on how to do 'prevention' by training students with a good mindset when using these tools. One idea is by forming a 'relationship' with these tools. For example, we can teach them to use the tool like you have a tutor/a senior friend. Students can learn from this tool, but not copy or ask the 'tutor'/'friend' to do assignment for them. Would love to discuss more about the ethical parts of this, and to hear more ideas on how to communicate this with students :) Thanks
