Could HEP maintain a destination that would house basic information about upcoming decisions to be made by various agencies and levels of government. The various work groups and committees could funnel ideas in, and HEP could coordinate, so that all constituents could access at a glance our collective knowledge about decisions, when they are coming and with links to information from the decision-makers, as well as links to information promoted by various HEP partners (without endorsing opinions expressed by those partners). You have a good track record of finding good technology solutions to various challenges (such as padlet) so maybe there's a good solution for this you could provide for the region.
