The Egyptians Believed in many different gods for each aspect of life. They created gods and goddesses for forms of nature and everyday things. The three gods that supposedly formed the earth itself were Geb, Shu, and Nut. Shu, Goddess of wind and air held Nut, Goddess of the sky over Geb, God of the earth, like an Umbrella. The Pharaoh job was to maintain the gods and the religion but He or she usually gave the job to a priest. To show his or her purity, The priest would drink water mixed with special salts to cleanse him(her)self. The Egyptians religion was unique and it gave there world logic.
