Multi racial and inclusive of people with low income,much like many locals/immigrants at that point of time back in 1955.Also,it had the view that workers deserved workers rights and better working conditions. Back in 1955,many locals/immigrants were working and they suffered having bad working conditions and little worker rights. Voting for Labour front would help workers that were working in singapore to earn money back home.

I chose Labour front because it was multi-racial and the members in the included low income and English educated members of trait unions. This makes me feel that they will not be biased as they are all multiracial and will treat everyone fairly.  - Selena

As the locals were also multi-racial, this means that it is easier to communicate with the locals. They also had members with lower income, which the British would probably ignore.
