We all know that bed bugs are very small, so small that not everyone can fully identify them once seen visually. 

They can not fly, so therefore once they end up in a place, like say bed sheets... they will stay there until they want to move somewhere else. 

Once seen for real, you will notice that the colour of the bugs are a rust - coloured 'creature'

As you know not all hotels or houses you stay in are 100% germ friendly, therefore you will have uninvited guests hiding in your personal space.
