Art, technology, and the government has become modernized and developed by our new perspectives as we evolve. As a group, we thought that the world was made up of five main categories: ideology, culture/religion, technology, government/politics, and art. We decided that each one of these sections could be represented by pillars. The pillars represent the main and sturdy structure of the Modern World. We believe that these primary categories include all that make up the Modern World. Ideology represents the changing mindsets about equality, racism, sexism, and personal identities. The ideologies affect every aspect of the Modern World and are the core to everything. Culture and religion represent the freedom of choice and personal belief that so many are given now. It also represents people's views on history and the ideas and freedoms that are seen as socially desirable. Government and politics have developed so much with democracy, different political parties, laws, and acceptable behavior. We chose art because we believe that it represents a lot with paintings, sculptures, photography, and music. All of these arts have changed and improved as time passes. Lastly, technology includes new tools to better society like solar panels, modern structures, transportation, phones, and the internet. All of these categories are interconnected in some ways. An example is culture/religion and art. These can tie together with things such as cultural dances, music, and many other forms of art.
