I always check with my co-teachers on the level about the information that they share with their classes to make sure we are on the same page and that what I teach match the level of understanding of our students.

Since our students are into technology, I always try to use simulations (which they can also use at home) as well as show them tangible instructional materials (specimens, lab equipments, etc) to see how concepts are actually observed in person. Sometimes, I tend to bank on the students' creativity and give them scenarios where they can apply their learning such as the one in the picture.

When i plan my lesson, I always take into consideration the following:

Level of my students. I always check whether my students will understand the science terms that we will learn. I always provide pictures along with the words that we will be learning to make sure that my students understand our science terms.

Hands on experience. I always make sure to incorporate hands on activities in my lesson because I believe they learn more when they experience it. I also want to instill the love for science through this.
