As part of our October collaborative activity, we had a wonderful international Google Meet with the students from the beautiful city of Malesina and their teacher, Stella.

During our meeting, we introduced ourselves, got to know each other and talked about our heroes and the inspiring people from our countries. We shared what these heroes mean to us and discussed the qualities that make someone a hero, such as courage, kindness, determination, creativity and perseverance.

Together, we chose a chapter for our international book and worked on it collaboratively during the meeting. Students exchanged ideas, listened to each other and contributed to our shared story.

It was a joyful and meaningful experience that helped our students communicate across borders, discover different cultures and learn that heroes can inspire us in many different ways.

We successfully completed our October collaborative activity!

They introduced themselves, shared two Greek heroes and discovered heroes from their partner countries.They also shared their ideas about what makes a true hero and added their thoughts to our Canva.

It was a lovely meeting full of smiles, curiosity and English communication!

Heroes inspire both through courage and through helping and caring for others. Help and bravery appear among the most remembered qualities, showing that taking action and facing challenges are part of what makes someone inspiring. Kindness and protection also stand out; for these students, caring for others is an important part of being a hero.
