This is a wonderful tool for teachers to be able to get kids to come up with short answers to questions to gauge their feelings about a subject. A teacher could ask a questions such as what word would you use to describe a character. Love this tool. So often teachers and students find a great website but they cant copy the info down or make it easily accessible. This is a great way to avoid the misinformation or mistypes that can occur.

When it comes to classroom collaboration Google Docs provides a teacher with real time ability to engage with students and for students to engage with each other.The tools mirror Microsoft products and they provide real time collaboration in a platform used in elementary, High School higher ed and business. This activity was a reminder to me that there are so many ways to reach students and teachers when it comes to engagement. Looking for new tools is essential when it comes to keeping teaching fresh and exciting for all learners. As far as my own growth I think that I tend to "stick to what I know". Some of these tools were familiar to me, but when I had to think about the usability and meaningful use part of the task I wanted to see myself in front of a classroom and make sure there was a connection to the tool and the teaching. Linking learning to the use of technology is essential. 

As far as a way to improve this task I think creating a Padlet with a common theme throughout the uses of all of the tools would be a way to see how the tools could all connect and almost provide the ability to create a digital portfolio. Perhaps give the participant a topic or a theme and see what they come up with.
