Hi, I'm Seonaid. I am a stay at home mum, writer and photographer. I am interested in learning something new. If nothing else, to prove that I can actually still learn. Hi Everyone, I'm Vanessa and I have chosen this course as I'm looking at applying for a MSc in September but wanted to see how I get on at this level. I used to be an archaeologist but chose to change career and persue geology instead. I completed my BSc last year and have a strong interest in geothermal energy, stratigraphic processes and public engagement and acceptance of science. Good luck everyone 👍

Hi all, I'm Bill and I am an Architect based in the central belt with a keen interest in renewable energy. I am familiar with ground source heating used in domestic and small commercial projects, but I thought this course would be a great introduction into the wider concept of geothermal energy, and how it can be harnessed for much larger projects across the world. Greetings from Balmedie, Aberdeenshire! Chris Leach here - I am a Chartered Engineer and Project Manager. I run a small consultancy company, CAL Consulting. I've been involved in a number of geothermal power generation projects around the world. It is a truly fascinating subject that is both ancient and cutting-edge. My aim from this course is to fill in the gaps in my knowledge and understand what's new and exciting.

Hi, I am Stephen. I have 20+ years of experience in the Oil Industry and a keen interest in the energy industry as a whole. Holding MScs in both Drilling Engineering and Renewable Engineering, I am filling in knowledge gaps in specific technologies as I prepare a PhD proposal focusing on an integrated energy mix approach and the social impact (from a human-focused POV) of the drive to Net Zero. Looking forward to learning more and working with you all.
