         <description><![CDATA[<div>Parkinson's disease affects the <strong>Substantia Nigra</strong> of the brain, responsible for the production of the hormone dopamine, which sends the signal for smooth and coordinated muscle movement of the body. In patient's who have Parkinson's the amount of dopamine is reduced causing the victim to have involuntary tremors and slowed movements.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Parkinson's disease does not affect everyone in the same way.&nbsp;The rate of progression and symptoms of the disease vary from patient to patient.  Many people assume their symptoms are the effect of old age which can be hard to differentiate as their are no definitive medical tests  for Parkinson's. </div>]]></description>
