Today overwhelmed by the beutines of this planet, one cold also see the extremeties of the life.
Mangroves can breath through their roots and live in the places where no other tree could ever survive. By doing that they can host huge variety of specieses and make life possible to the whole ecosystem in the area.
Like living creatures, also unorganic nature can change sometimes very quickly like those vanishing and new born islets in the sea by the force of nature. That can give some deep thoughts about the human life as well - some societies can go through hurricanes, also some indviduals in their own lives. Some can be magrovetrees and provide safe and nutrient enviroment to others to shine.

Today I realized once again how well the people of Guadeloupe help and support one another. I think that this „living together“ is often forgotten in my country, although it is so important.

Making more connections between school education and real life is crucial to our education. If there are no questions there is no interest and vice versa. Getting new real-life experiences rise questions and helps to understand. Today I saw how many talking points one single crab could raise. How do they get into the shell? Do they change shells when they grow? Why are most of the shells green? How do they survive on this little piece of land? Etc, etc. From the questions we start understanding the network of nature and what is extremely important for me as a biology teacher - we gradually get the understanding that humans are not the central species on the Earth. And last but not least - during these experiences all the key competencies and skill improve.
