"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand" -- Confucius.

The meaning of this quote is a nice example of the difference between an aural, visual, and kinesthetic learner. An aural learner learns by listening, but not everyone has that skill. A visual learner learns by seeing, and a kinesthetic learner learns by doing. This quote tells us that Confucius is more of a kinesthetic learner.

(Confucius Quotes)

Confucius says that, those who are working in a career they love, it will never be considered "working" because they will enjoy the job.

(Confucius Quotes)

"The cautious seldom err" -- Confucius

I had to look up the definition for the word "err" but when I did I realized that I did appreciate what the quote was trying to say. The outgoing are naturally more reckless than those that are more weary about their decisions. This quote explains that the cautious never do wrong because they are naturally more careful when it comes to their actions.

("Confucius Quotes")

Confucius was born under the name Kong Qui in around 551 BCE. According to Records of the Historian, a book by the author Ssu-ma Chi'en, Confucius was born into the Chou Dynasty, which conflicts the other accounts that claim he was born into poverty. Despite the differences in these beliefs, it is agreed that later on in his life, Confucius, a teacher, saw an opportunity to try and reinforce the idea of self-discipline.

("Confucius")
