The meaning of this quote is a nice example of the difference between an aural, visual, and kinesthetic learner. An aural learner learns by listening, but not everyone has that skill. A visual learner learns by seeing, and a kinesthetic learner learns by doing. This quote tells us that Confucius is more of a kinesthetic learner.

Many people in the world do not like going to work everyday, and this is oftentimes because of the fact that they do not enjoy the profession they are in. Confucius says that, those who are working in a career they love, it will never be considered "working" because they will enjoy the job.

To me, this quote is meant to be used as positive reinforcement. It says that it's okay to feel upset and sorrow, as long as you do not wallow in it and let it keep you down.

I had to look up the definition for the word "err" but when I did I realized that I did appreciate what the quote was trying to say. The outgoing are naturally more reckless than those that are more weary about their decisions. This quote explains that the cautious never do wrong because they are naturally more careful when it comes to their actions.
