I really recommend reading this book the first page will have you hooked. When it is her 5th day there she finds more people that have been down there for like 8 years! There is like a memorizing thing over everyone that like makes them not want to go back home. There are these glowing people down there that they think are going to kill them. When she see's one of her friends go down in a tunnel she desides  to follow her and she see's that she is doing sign language with the glowing people. From what I have read this book is all about a boy Greg which is the main character to try's and helps and prevents his brother from getting in trouble because his brother will release a secret of Greg's to the whole school. They are always ahead on the clues so the family always try to find a way to steal clues from them. The way that it starts out is the girl Eliza and her two friends were going to go to a cave and explore it but, her two friends wanted to take pictures at this dangerous swamp. They told Eliza to go find a good spot and then  she fell into the ground. She just kept falling and falling. Then she fell into this underground cavern. She was exploring it and something tried to attack her. Then this group of people killed the animal and took her to their home that they built down there. Then they show her what they do down there and tell her stuff about how they are there. She starts to help them out with resources and everything. Then she see's her friend go down into this tunnel and decides to follow her.
