So overall I think that Grant was pretty average. He was because of mainly the KKK. Grant stopped many members of the KKK. He supported slavery. He was willing to take all of the responsibilities and make all the decisions a president must make to insure the safety and well being of his country. And as he may not have been the best president, he was an excellent Army General and proved to have a heart and will large enough to support the entire country when he was in office. Grant did it not for himself, but for the country he knew and loved.

Overall, I think Grant's few accomplishments gave the country a lot of benefit, but I don't think he was the only one who could've done this. It's possible that someone in the country could've done this.
