He provided inspiration, solidity and a backbone for the party in the tough times of racial segregation. He did this based on his Christian beliefs, and what he thought was fair for the people of America.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Martin King Jr. ; more commonly known as Martin Luther King Jr. was the most important person involved in the Civil Rights movement. He was born in Atlanta on the 15th of January, 1929. He was killed in Memphis on the 4th of April, 1968. He lived with his father Reverend MLK Senior, and his mother Alberta Williams King, as well as his grandparents and two siblings. The King children all took piano lessons from their mother. The King children also enjoyed a variety of sports including Football and baseball. Martin Luther King Jr. used to deliver the newspaper to his neighbourhood.</div>]]></description>

I think it scared the public that someone like MLK otherwise known as a 'minority' had the guts to make such an impact on the country. Which meant that maybe other people like MLK (minorities) could do the same thing.</div>]]></description>

His whole speech was about racism and how it needs to stop, this didn't settle well with most racist americans so he was later assassinated in an area which still to this day is known as a predominantly white person area being Tennessee.</div>]]></description>

He did not think this was right, he could see this difference in respect especially when him and his family went to restaurant, and cinemas. One day Martin and his father went to a shoe store, the clerk told them to go to the back of the store. "We do not serve coloured in the front of the store". <br><br>When he was five he started school at Yonge Street Elementary School in Atlanta. His beliefs consisted of race equality, this meaning that everyone should be treated equally.  He was very optimistic as a child as he could see that darker people were treated differently to white people and tried to do something about it. A part of his Christian beliefs it was also that everybody should be treated the same.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes I was inspired by his work. He showed such courage to stand for what he believed in which I think was very bold of him. I know if something like this was happening to me I wouldn't have the courage to say anything about it. It was an especially big case for MLK as he was such a minority.</div>]]></description>
