This is the final product of the hand coming out of the branch on my tree, this honestly took the longest out of anything because I had to perfect the scale down the dimensions on my reference picture. I started with the stump of the tree where I slipped and scored little swirls onto it. Then, I carved fur onto the cat, and finally I carved texture onto the branches of the tree. My cats are my favorite things in the world and I wanted to try and include one in my project. I made it look like a Coraline cat because it is more deformed, sort of like the inside of my head. The tree is Tim Burton style to make it seem haunted and deformed similar to the cat. The tree has a hand reaching into the food bowl which is empty because I have have disordered eating due to my depression.

Their stares pierce through her skin
Past no longer defining
Haunting memories within
Broken at last
All that remains
Is a sliver a glass
Covered with stains
Deceiving them with a smile
