Hindus are vegetarian, because they believe that gods lives in everything and it is important to respect all living things (animals prob.).

Hindus believe in the cycle of birth, life , death and rebirth. (Reincarnation).

Hindus believe that every action that we make has an effect, this is called Karma 

how she lives now affects how she will live in her next life, and if she was good she will be freed from the cycle and be one with god. (moksha). 

Believe in one god Brahman ( the supreme god)

The names, qualities are represented by gods and goddesses.

Believe they are meeting god when they meet the Murtis. First he rings the bell, now down and ask for something or thanking for something good that happened

-A bunch of flowers are called flowers just like one god, because they have different expressions or smells they are represented differently.

Often choose one god to worship, because that Murtis will represent what they need in their life or they admire their quality. Some families choose one god to worship or that they worshiped for generations.

Worship by performing ritual  (Aarti). They close their eyes and sing to focus on the god they are worshiping. This ritual is performed every morning and every evening

throw ashes in the river because they think that that the river flows like our lives.

- Murtis are sacred statues/images that represent god. the ones at the Mandir are more decorative, however at home they are simpler (This does not change their value)

-Raksha means protection
Bandhan means tie
