The door handle and the toilet seat are places people come into contact with many times a day and they have the most bacteria. I know more bacteria is found here because we swabbed these places and they have a great deal of colonies whereas the phone screen and stair railing don't. It is more likely for bacteria to come into contact with these places because they encounter a larger variety of people touching them. At the most a couple of people are going to touch a phone screen and a lot of times people don't use railings on stairs. However, in order to use the bathroom you have to touch the toilet.
