Humy is a digital app for high school history that uses generative Artificial Intelligence to create resources for both educators and students, such as lesson plans, formative assessments and marking rubrics. The year level of each lesson can be adjusted, and there are myriad historical figures, topics and eras to choose from. Students can even ‘interact’ digitally with ‘historical figures’ by asking them questions. https://portal.humy.ai/ai/explore

I used Humy because of its ease of use for students to create ideas about aspects of the topic to cover.

I used Canva as the digital tool that will underpin the design of my mini-unit for AT2. Being a Web 2.0 tool, it is conducive for student collaboration, monitoring by teachers, creating assignments with a myriad of audio/video/image functions, and sharing them online. Additionally, Canva fulfills every stage of SAMR.

Quizizz is a very useful app that can be used for formative assessment, and it has a very large selection of topics and subjects, from which to test student understanding. It is for these reasons that I am using Quizizz as one of my tools for AT2.
