THE DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME:

The children are placed in formation like a bow, with their faces

inward, holding hands.

In two places on the circle, children don‟t hold hand, these, being the

parts where “the cat” is allowed to enter and to exit the circle.

In the middle of the circle there is a child “the mouse”, outside the

circle there another child “the cat”.

At the teacher‟s command to start the game, “the cat” tries to catch

“the mouse”. The players from the circle ease “the mouse‟s escape”, allowing the entry and the exit from the circle, by raising the arms. “The cat” is prevented from passing. It can enter the circle only through the two gates. If “the cat” catches “the mouse”, the teacher chooses other children for these parts. The indication is the same in the case when “the cat” doesn‟t succeed to catch the mouse in a certain time.

Rules and game description:

All children sit at the table and have a sheet of paper and a pencil.

The game consists of a series of interactive rounds where members will

compete directly.

At the beginning, each player makes a game card with a table to note:

C = countries

T = towns

M = mountains

W = waters

N = names

A = animals (birds, insects)

P = plants

Total:

Then the players decide who is going to start the game and

that person must say the alphabet in his mind until the player who

follows him, says STOP!. The letter to which it was stopped will

be the point of the next round. All players must write as quickly

and accurately as possible words (names) for each section.

The player who finishes the first, says, STOP, when

everyone stops writing and starts checking their answers and

scoring them.

Scoring Types:

For a unique, one-to-one response to which no one

responded: 25 points;

For a fairly different response from other players: 10

points;

For the correct answer similar to another player: 5 poits;

For no answer or wrong answer: 0 points.

At each end of one round, each player add the score and

move to Total, a heading at the end of the table. The next player

says the alphabet in his mind and the game continues.
