I would love to feature Blockbuster in my padlet. I love how movies like Four Sisters and a Wedding represent Filipino culture, and how we as Filipinos (majority of us) prioritize family. Watching Filipino blockbusters touch my heart because it is relatable and it is probably the reason why a lot of Filipinos love watching blockbusters.

For me, Filipino blockbuster movies have a big impact on how society thinks, how people feel, and how people perceive Filipino culture. By applying Agenda Setting Theory, we as viewers see how these movies draw attention to significant social issues, raising viewers' awareness of topics like migration, being a breadwinner for their family at such an early age like the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, and family struggles like the movie Four Sisters and a Wedding. Blockbuster films that contain these topics put particular stories into the public, affecting what viewers discuss and how they view actual circumstances. The more these movies focus on specific topics that Filipinos relate to, it is highly likely that viewers would find them interesting and worthy of discussion.

Aside from raising awareness, Philippine blockbuster movies influence changes in the country's economy, entertainment, and sense of identity. The popularity of these films can inspires filmmakers to tell more varied and significant tales, influencing Philippine cinema's future. Additionally, as fans travel to filming locales or purchase movie-related merchandise, famous films help local businesses and tourism. More significantly, these movies promote cultural pride by illustrating Filipino values, customs, and hardships, which enables viewers from abroad to empathize with the Filipino way of life. Blockbuster movies use agenda setting to affect public consciousness, industries, and conversations in addition to providing entertainment.
