When we are on campus, we as teachers, can tell if a student is having a "bad day" within seconds of seeing them and right away we can address it and help the student. Even just noticing and/or offering to help out which is unmeasurably important when building these 
relationships. Over the computer that is going to be exponentially harder.

I also appreciate the small class sizes as Tracey pointed out. This will assist in building relationships and better knowing our students.

I see a challenge also with the short time we have with students (6 weeks vs. 18 weeks per semester). Art students can often lack the confidence in their work from the start or periodically through their journey as an artist.
