Another main one is to Practice playing the instrument you are good at or your singing technique so you can become a better performer. These days one of the most vital roles is to actually Promote your music or your own tour so you can get the perfect crowd you cant become a better performer with experience infront of a big crowd as they are only going to get bigger every time. Some of the main skills and characteristics you will need as a performer is confidence this is key as you progress through your music career, The more you perform the less nerves you will get as it can be very nerve- racking as you get on the stage. This performance is very well rehearsed and has clearly ran through this a few times so they can get it as perfect as it can be. This performance is very laid back compared to live forever at knebworth as Olivia and Robert Smith are singing and playing the guitars at the same time. This is a very professional Performance of a very well known song as a duet. The Stage Presence of this Performance is quite standard and is not as Exciting compared to other performances. STAGE MANAGER:

A stage manager is the central organizer and communicator for a theatre production, they are responsible for everything from creating rehearsal schedules and managing props to calling cues during a performance and ensuring the directors vision is realized, sometimes they use something called a prompt book this is a book which contains all the cues during the performance.

Some of the main responsibilities is scheduling and communication this means they have to let everyone know when all the rehearsals are and when they should be there. rehearsal management this is where the stage managers lead the rehearsal, providing everyone with their props at the right moment.

Another major one is Live performance and cues this means during the show the manager takes full charge pf the show from the backstage area, running the show by calling all technical and actor cues, and resolving any problems that occur. Some of the main skills required for this job are: organisation this means they need to be ready and make sure everything is perfect and ready to go. Calm under pressure is another major one this means that sometimes things may go wrong so they will need to figure out how to resolve the problem. communication is key so everyone know what they are doing.

health and safety are crucial in creative professions to protect workers from physical and mental hazards e.g. hazardous materials, electrical equipment. this is very important so everyone can stay safe in their own job. health and safety is very important in the music industry to protect performers, crew and audiences from physical harm. hearing damage thats why they use in ears to keep their ears safe and other risks inherent in various environments like stages studios and large venues. major hazards include: slips and falls due to wires being in the way of people. to maintain good mental health and well being in the music industry you need to focus on self care establishing routines including getting enough sleep the night before a gig and exercising regularly. the importance of health and safety in the music industry is vital to everyone because if your not well enough mentally you will not succeed in the industry as its very hard work, another one is a elevated stage because if there is no barrier at the bottom of the stage someone could fall off the stage and could potentially break a part of their body: E.G. Dave grohl was performing and he accidentally walked of the stage and broke his foot because there was no barrier to keep him safe. this is a example of health and safety gone wrong.

this is what i did with susie, we have learnt how to use logic in these lessons, we have learnt how to mix on logic with different music types, some of the things that went well was using the instruments so they stay in time and sounds right and in tune. some of the things that could've went better is that to make this music a bit more complexed than the same thing over and over

final evaluation

For this project we set out to perform one cover song or possibly more, we hoped to achieve to cover a song as a band and we did achieve this but only as a 3 man band, We have tried don't look back in anger but this did not work out due to people not learning their own parts but then we moved to little by little as a 3 man band and this worked very well. Some of the things that went well was everyone learning their parts for this song and how we picked this song up in two weeks with no mistakes. Due to the band having different music taste to me this has been quite challenging for me but we managed to work our way around this problem by doing 2 songs. 1 song which was more metal based which suited them more and another which is more indie based which suited me more.

the timing of the song that i did was perfect apart from the end when the guitar and the drums finished at separate times but apart from that it was perfect. My Confidence on stage has grown a lot from now and since i first started i had no confidence. The stage presence is something we need to work on for our next project as we need to nail this down. To improve this for the next project i'm going to watch performances of the artists i like to see what they're stage presence is like.

We all Memorised our parts perfectly until the end when everyone finished at the wrong time so the drums was out of time. some other things we can improve on for next time is to make sure everyone is staying in time for the entirety of the song. Something i would do differently is when we have problems with our band to sort this out quicker so we have more time to get things sorted. Some of the main things i've learnt this term is to play with a band as something i have never done before as i am a solo artist so this has opened up opportunities to play with people i normally would never play with. This project supports my future progression by growing my confidence in performing live and playing in a band which i've never done before

the song sports car-tate mcrae has been remixed by devault. this version brings more of a dance/rave atmosphere compared to the version tate mcrae sung. some of the main things that has changed in this track is it is more sped up compared to the other version.

the subway- conan gray cover

this cover of the subway is quite different to the normal version of the song by chappell Roan. some of the things been added was the violin and this version is more bass heavy so you can hear the bass very well compared to the other version. the singing on this version is very similar to the original but the long note isn't held as long compared to what chappell sings. the backing vocals can be heard more on this version compared to the chappell version.
