         <description><![CDATA[<div> P,L,O,C Also know as Planning, leading(influencing), Organizing , and controlling. Planning involves choosing tasks that must be performed to reach goals. Organizing is designating task to people within the organization under the planning functions.Leading or influencing is motivating and guiding decisions to reach organizational attainment. Last but not least controlling is like checks and balances where you analyze the company and make necessary steps to fix the organization  This artifact is extremely valuable to me because this is what helped me understand the bases  of these four functions to reach organizational goals. This also taught me what i feel to be the blueprint to this course .<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This facility is called Amys Drive through a new franchise on the west coast . What is so significant about this place is thats its all vegan food everything about this place screams sustainability . To start planning you will need to first identify the problem . Once we know whats wrong it's time to gather information on ways to reach the goal. The third step is to list all alternatives and analyze them.The fourth step is to choose the best alternative and this is when you can develop plans to purse the alternative chosen.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Knowing the different cultures in your workplace is important&nbsp; because it will provide reasoning behind employee actions or mentality. Hofstede discussed dimensions based on cultural values the first one is power distance where a society believe that whoever holds the most power runs the country. some cultures want to avoid uncertainty and these are the people who want some stable.Individualism and collectivism are opposite and countries that practice individualism are all for themselves . Collectivism practices teamwork as a whole. Some countries emphasis gender where your sex determines what you should do in society and last but not least there are short term and long term orientation and this is all about success of a country and the steps they are willing to to get there . Some countries value long term success and poverty stricken countries need success as soon as possible. This artifact discusses foreign values and is good knowledge to know.</div>]]></description>

This artifact will produce pros and cons of having power delegated by your position versus having power produced by relationships you have with people. When referring to a good manager i think of someone who is strictly business they don't necessarily care about personal relationships and usually have position power. On the other hand A good leader is someone who is more understanding about employees needs, they motivate/influence and have compassion at the workplace this is what gave me my sense of understanding during this course.</div>]]></description>
