What role should organizations play in society?
Organizations play a key role in society, as they can interact with different actors in their community. To illustrate, organizations are responsible of establishing good relations with the people that are influenced by their actions.

The general interest of the organization should always prevail over the individual interests of their members.

Ethics should also be considered as an essential when it comes to the management of the organizations. The activities could be targeted to promote sustainable development as its part of the common interest.

The organizations are responsible on offering quality service to their customers since their structures are supposed to grant quality services.

We believe that organizations play a relevant role in our society, that is why they should contribute to the economy while generating social value. Having this in mind, organizations should act with transparency and honesty. Although organizations can aim to obtain an economic income they should always take into account society´s  wellbeing and the ethical principles that will assure it. Now more than ever it is key for them to play an active role in sustainable development balancing the economic, social and environmental dimension.


b) What incentives are needed?

The role that organizations should play in society must be the one of fulfilling three main areas, which are, the environmental, the financial, and the social. This is because it may generate profits to the different stakeholders that an organization has, including the shareholders, the employers, the different clients, and even the different suppliers that the organization has. In addition to this, also an implicit role in the organization must be the establishment of good relationships between all the stakeholders, as a good development in the organization environment must provide higher benefits for all the people involved o this one.  

Organizations should embody ethical constraints such as human rights and reflect human values since they are a collective representation of the social dynamic. They should also maintain environmental awarness

In reference to the incentives needed to fulfill the role of the organizations, it is important for this one to have the incentive of "growth". Either if it is economically, or in whichever type of way, if an organization isn´t gaining any type of "payback" for its work, it is likely for this one to be stalled since it´s workers aren´t motivated either.

Organizations should fulfill the role of being  the tool that generates actions for change in society. It not only should generate profit, but they should capture and return social and environmental value.

Organizations should drive the society to improve education levels, health care, technology, and they should encourage and promote the culture where they are located.
 
b) What incentives are needed?
 
At a macro level, the state must guarantee easy access to markets for entrepreneurs who want to create organizations , such a lowering taxes, and also, it is very important to have incentives within the organization such as better opportunities and a better environment in order to strengthen the organizational culture.

Our perspective of what role should  should be play by an organization is that they should not only be concern about the profits. They must have a integral relationship with the environment, contributing to a healthy development of the differents aspectects in society and a sustainable growth. Such as social, ecological, political , economical, that will provide a positive impact in the environment  and  mayor value to society. Therefore, the incentives that should be needed to achieve this goal are economic incentives such as reduction of taxes or economic aid for the organization. Organizations should play an active role in society by creating a general well-being, taking into account the interests of the stakeholders and the community that surrounds them. They should also be a mecanism to achieve effective cooperation in order to increase the possibility to accomplishing their mutual purposes and goals. 

The main incentives that are needed are a healthy relationship environment, where all members of the organization feel comfortable in the working space. If the internal environment matches the external environment it will cause to full fill the original goal of profit to all the agents that interact and have  role in the organization (stakeholders, employees, suppliers, and ) but also will accomplish to establish good relationships between them. In addition, another role that organizations play in society is to comply the different needs of society.

(b) What incentives are needed?

In order to properly motivate organizations to go further and provide added value to society, certain incentives need to be in place. Naturally monetary incentives are the most common. However, different incentives such as tax reductions and regulations can provide additional motivation.

The incentives for organizations should represent some kind of profit also to those small businesses that have cultural, environmental and social impact in the context where it is located, this way they would have a network that could benefit the organizations impact in this same context through synergy and shared value.

Organizations should focus on creating a positive impact in society, creating value to stakeholders in different areas of interest such as environmental issues, economic development and social growth. The organization should have a purpose first, create balance of a healthy and ethical relationship between the actors that interact within (stakeholders). 
The organizations should create mechanisms to help social, environmental and economic problems, based on the sustainable development goals. 
b) What incentives are needed?

The most important incentives needed, must be creating growth within the organization and outside of it, including moral and ethics on their actions. This means, in terms of the inner workings, it should have inner development, of personal grow as well as professional improvement, for the different employees and stakeholders. On the other hand,  create well-being in society, positive externalities and positive exchange of goods and services.

1. Organizations should be ethical and sustainable, encouraging people to incorporate the organizations values and morals into their daily lives not only through the process of achieving a result but also to have a process that is ethically correct, leading by example. They should not only be focused by maximizing the income of the shareholders but also benefiting the society because they have a social responsability. 

2. Some incentives can be a reduction in taxes to organizations that get certain accreditations related to fair trade or sustainability that show their commitment to ethical ways of working. Also legal incentives that organizations have to do in order to be able to work in a certain field.
