Modules couldn't be the reason for the suicide. Yes, we are facing this crisis and hard times, especially in our studies. Many of us are experiencing stress or depression because of our studies. Some students have different abilities. Some students have trouble coping with their tasks; they don't understand what the discussion is about. Some students have the ability to easily understand the lessons. They have the opportunity to access anything. I can say modules are heavy tasks, especially if we just depend on them. We just depend on the internet to understand more of the lessons that they give. Modules and virtual classes are really different from face-to-face classes. Many of us require individual instruction from teachers to fully understand the lessons. There are still a significant number of students who are unable to read and comprehend Filipino or English text. Modules and online classes are now a normal way for us to study, and we don't have the choice but to answer and complete those tasks, whether we like them or not. But that doesn't mean that modules are the reason for committing suicide. Modules are just one way for us to learn and continue to learn, even in the midst of a pandemic. Maybe that special student is facing a family problem. That's why he/she committed such a crime. The family should be the ones who guide and protect us in our studies when it comes to this situation.
