CafePod LTD is an independent business that was created in 2011. The firm's headquarters are in London, England. The firm is an innovative coffee capsule maker, and its mission is to revolutionise the face of coffee in the United Kingdom and Europe.

The firm provides a broad selection of coffee goods in several categories, such as intense, smooth, arabica lungo, decaf, hot or cold blended espresso, and so on. In addition, the firm produces coffee capsules that operate as espresso mixes to alter the coffee industry and customer behaviour in the United Kingdom. It has a certain level of risk involved with it when the firm provides a new line of goods in current markets for business growth and development. Costa, Nespresso, Starbucks, and Caffe Nero are CAFEPOD’s primary rivals in the United Kingdom and around Europe. The severe rivalry among the coffee industry's major rivals in the United Kingdom may have an adverse effect on CAFEPOD’s overall business operations and result in losses for the firm. Since many categories of coffee goods are available on the market from various producers, customers may choose from a variety of categories. This has increased rivalry among the leading coffee product providers, who are obligated to supply high-quality coffee goods to keep their market share. CafePod for example, may develop and extend its company by offering diet food goods in current markets (Fuller, 2016). A substantial amount of investment is required in this case, which raises the risk connected with this growth approach.

Marketing analysis has revealed that the introduction of technological developments such as social media marketing and e-commerce has presented a significant opportunity for business development and growth, which can be used by the company to increase sales and revenue by disseminating information about the company's products and services to widely dispersed customers and using online sales and distribution channels. Developments in digital information technology and the use of digital technology by business organisations in every sector has presented a huge opportunity for SMEs (Small enterprises) to expand with the help of online sales platform and better targeted marketing using social networking websites to increase brand awareness and making information about the products and services offered by the company more easily accessible to potential customers. Another potential to innovate and produce new items for maximum sales is the promotion of healthy eating and nutritional content in food products. Using low-cost loans and finances, the firm may enter new markets for domestic growth and give early discounts for market penetration.

The adoption of an authoritarian leadership style assists the coffee firm in consolidating its entire authority and power in the hands of the organization's founder. Cafepod's general company operations are managed effectively via the use of authoritarian leadership style, which entails making crucial choices within a certain time frame. Additionally, incorporating an authoritarian leadership style into CafePod effectively would enable the coffee firm to stay ahead of the competition and maintain a stronghold on the commercial market.
It has been estimated that implementation of above-mentioned strategies brings the company financial growth for 2017-2018. Unfortunately, due to Brexit and Covid crisis in 2019 Cafepod company register an EBITDA of £23,077.00 which went down by 53.79% compared to previous years.

It is possible to conclude that evaluating growth prospects is a crucial role of SMEs' company owners, for which numerous considerations such as resources or competencies are made. For funding the investment and development potential for SMEs, many sources of cash, such as bank loans or personal investment, may be explored. Finally, it may be stated that several departure or succession alternatives are available for small and medium-sized firm owners to explore.

Anderson, E.T. and Anderson, E., 2017.
