Both scientists had important advice. Do not brush off the caterpillar from your skin. If you do, the poison hairs could stay on your clothing.American Dagger Moth caterpillars are bright yellow-green. They have black hairs. These look like eyebrows.

In October an American Dagger Moth caterpillar was seen in Michigan. Someone saw one at a college. 
 
some caterpillars can poison people.
