Don't look behind you by Lois Duncan is a horror book. The book takes place in Norwood, Virginia and Florida. The main characters include April Corrigan, her dad George Corrigan, her mom Elizabeth Corrigan and her brother Bram Corrigan. George is a undercover FBI agent, trying to bust a drug ring. While leaving the courtroom he is shot at, believed to be the people who found out hes was FBI. In danger of being targeted the Corrigan family is forced to join the witness protection program.
I think the book was just okay. The ending could have been better and there wasn't a lot of action. I would classify this book as a thriller not a horror, because it wasn't that scary. Out of the five stars I would give this book a three. I like horror books and didn't scare me at all. I would not recommend this book to others because I did not think it was interesting.

"Glancing past him(Bram) into the living room, I saw mom seated on the sofa, talking with a man who appeared to be in his early forties. As we entered the room, they turned to face us, and a chill of apprehension shot through me as I saw the expression on their faces."
I chose this quote because this is when all the secrets come out and when they have to leave.
