EDUCATION IN EUROPE

Changes in education and training have always been discussed. While some communities embrace the changes, others find them out of place and unnecessary. In Turkey, there is a majority opinion that education in Europe is better as a model. If we look at the education of Europe; There is a free dress code. The very low poverty rate is one of the main reasons why this practice does not face any problems.
In European education, the 4-year primary school constitutes the part before the transition to high school. Students who cannot successfully complete primary school are sent to vocational high schools or secondary schools through teachers. Those who successfully graduate from vocational high school can immediately start working as a worker. After a certain period of time, they are in a position to open their own businesses. Those who finish secondary school can start high school. Students who have graduated from high school can go to the university they want with the decisions of their teachers. In short, the initiative of teachers is very important in the European education model. It is up to the teacher to guide the student.

The Russian higher education system has a special place in the world. General education in Russia is aimed at the intellectual, moral, emotional and physical development of the person. In this education program, students prepare themselves for the future by choosing a profession. General education, which covered ten years before 1985, was organized according to a learning period of eleven years later. Students finish secondary education at the age of 17-18.

Initial general education in Russia is 4 years, basic general education is 5 years; The second general education takes 2 or 3 years. Primary general education and basic general education are compulsory. Students take final exams after basic general education. Students who qualify for a basic general education certificate if they pass the exam are either encouraged to continue their education or not. The certificate indicates whether the student is eligible for vocational training in either a secondary or non-university level higher education programe.

The age at which children start compulsory education in Ireland is 6. However, almost half of the 4-year-olds and almost all of the 5-year-olds are enrolled in programs called "Children's Class", which is similar to the kindergartens in our country. The expenses of children's classes and primary schools are covered by the state. The Republic of Ireland, which attaches great importance to primary education, aims to touch on every area that can touch the soul of the students in the primary education curriculum. In addition to cognitive and physical development, maximum attention is paid to the development of creativity, aesthetic perceptions and social skills.
