Online: Please participate 3-5 hours per week.  3 credits means 3 hours of "seat time" and 3 hours "at home"
HYBRID: We will meet 1-2 times per week depending on the assignments, please attend class.
It is important to keep up with scheduled assignments because I scaffold all of our work, meaning that one skill leads to the next, etc. For this reason, completing an assignment 3 or 4 weeks later does not lead to effective learning and mastery of concepts. As a result, late work has automatic deductions. This policy helps you develop good habits for success in this and all courses.
Canvas Participation Expectations
You will need to log into Canvas almost every day or make a schedule for yourself. It is up to you to check your grade and keep up with assignments, but know that I am available if you're having trouble or have questions. Don't hesitate to contact me. But please check CANVAS first!
Instructor Response Time
I usually respond within a few minutes to calls, emails or texts received during my office hours. If I'm teaching or driving, obviously, it may take a couple of hours to respond.
