That’s where most of the other mestizos would be born since usually the owner of the house would be male and there would usually be a female maid. As time passed by the mestizos became a much larger group to where it was no longer rare for someone to be mestizo. They later adopted the Hispanic’s clothing style so they would be distinguished from the indigenous people. · Depending on what place we are talking about, the mestizos are of different races, not just the same ones as in Mexico. For example, in the Philippines, a mestizo could have been someone that is Chines mixed with native ancestry.

· In most cases, the mom was indigenous, and the dad was of pure blood. Although one of the kid’s parents was of pure blood, or in this case fully European or Spaniard, the kid wouldn’t be moved up to a higher class.

· Anything that was made by these people was considered to be mestizo. Even when it came to art, it would be considered mestizo if it had anything that involved Hispanic and/or indigenous elements.

I am pretty sure that everyone knows that at one point every race was mixed, but it is interesting to learn what races were the ones that were first to be mixed and which races were those.
