I can clearly see how STEAM can be a vehicle for addressing equity and representation by using culturally relevant teaching materials and diverse role models. My nex step is to Collaborate with colleagues to organize interdisciplinary workshops that connect science, technology, and arts through language and also provide professional development for peers, focusing on strategies for integrating STEAM and English, including addressing the equity issues discussed in this course.
