Social media is used for many different things such as...

Sharing memories with friends and family, writing about how your day has been or what you have accomplished during the day and staying in contact with people who either you cant visit or even just to check up on a friend who lives down the road. People use social media for arranging plans and meetings with relatives and friends however, sometimes people don't agree with social media as they believe it is beginning to turn teenagers and other people "anti-social" because they rely more on social media to stay in contact rather than visit.

 “Is technology taking over?” 

 I’m interested in this topic because I would like to see what other people’s opinions are about technology. I chose this topic for my individual skills challenge because I thought the replies and answers I retrieved would be rather different and interesting to analyse.

 My personal response to this question is no I do not think that technology is taking over however, on the other hand I do believe technology has become more significant towards peoples day to day lives but I agree that technology is cool and good to have around. 

 In my opinion I agree with people when they describe technology and social media being helpful during your day. This is because technology and social media helps you capture significant moments in your life and helps you stay in contact with friends and family who are far, not only this but it can also save your life if there in an emergency or if you have suspicions of danger. Technology and social media also helps you to solve puzzles which appear in your day.

 I chose this topic because I like technology and social media and I wanted to see other people’s opinions on this topic considering there are multiple different ones.

Having your own opinion on technology is perfectly fine and it even stems to being great because it give researches and builders of the product (computer, phone and much more) feedback. Feedback given from the community will provide creators information to enhance technology and be able to include features which may persuade people’s negative opinions to become more positive about technology.
