It showed some core values of the modern world, how Americans are putting fame first in front of family, friends, etc. I really think that we don't just stop and think enough. People are always engaged in phones and other forms of technology. At musicals, sports, and even at the dinner table people are always on their phones taking selfies, texting, etc. We don't have as important core values anymore. There were many good examples of kids that were set on fame more than many other things. Even though there are so many negatives with social media, there are some advantages to it.
