Before giving a child the responsibility of owning a mobile phone, I would consider:

-Their maturity

-Their age

-Their sense of responsibility

-Their self-control skill

-Their ability to handle frustration.

I would talk to the child about the dangers it involves and the need for them to be communicative with us in case they spot anything that might harm them, or might seem strange to them.
