The most basic (ethnic) tradition is Easter Monday. Czechs make "pomlaska"(braids from willow). This is an ethnic tradition. 

There is also a fair for 2 weeks on the main square in Prague. The most popular treat is "baranek", honey cake in the form of a lamb.

As for Easter eggs, they sell them in all stores and shops. On Easter Sunday lots of cities have fairs where folk festivals are held. But the biggest fun begins on Monday. A woman is like a flower    ( or vegetable ) that needs to be watered, so men pour water on women. Usually men begin to read poems for girls, demanding a ransom. To avoid the fate of being wet, girls have to pay with money.   ( but they still run the risk of being wet ). For guys it's so important to do it before noon, because after that girls revenge on them.

Easter or Wielkanoc is a major holiday in Poland, Easter-related traditions take place for more than a week. The Holy week lasts from Palm Sunday to Wet Monday.
Palm Sunday is celebrated on the last Sunday before the great Week. Most Poles go to the Church with branches of willow, palm and berries for consecration. Also on this day in Poland, there is a competition for the construction of the largest palm tree in the city, village, etc . The branches of the palm tree are decorated with sweets and cookies, and then they are distributed to children.

The next day, the poles collect baskets and go to the churches to bless the Easter eggs. Pysanky  - eggs, very nicely painted, the ancient Polish tradition. At the table, they hit each other until there is only one left. The owner of the winning paintbrush will be lucky for a whole year.

Wet Monday - it is difficult to stay dry on this  day. Everyone is pouring water over each other with buckets and water pistols. Very fun and very wet. If you don't want to get soaking wet (someone else is working, yeah) then carry candy to pay off.
Such a holiday. At first dark and heavy, and then turning into unrestrained fun. After night, there is always Day. That's the symbolism.
