My purpose for writing this letter is so that racial profiling is seen as a bigger issue, taken more seriously, Police are given harsher punishments when committing it, and Police can see how it affects the black community

I am writing this letter to raise awareness towards teen girls mental health. I hope that this encourages people to help teens that see themself in a bad way or are depressed.

My audience is social platforms and parents. I am also telling about my personal experience with bad body image towards myself. Because I often compare my size to my peers and friends. To show that I can understand how some of these teen girls feel who have poor body image of themselves.

I want to explore the issue of teen girls mental health because I feel like it is not talked about enough and most times ignored. This should concern us because the numbers of suicidal deaths of teen girls have increased substantially over the years. And a lot of these suicidal deaths are caused by teen girls not thinking that they are enough. So social platforms and parents need to take this seriously because this could be happening to someone you know or your own child. We should all check on our friends and family or maybe even people we don't know to make sure that they are okay.

My purpose for writing this letter is so that more people may know about the many discriminative bills that are being written by extremist lawmakers.

My audience is the US senators and the queer people in America, so that they may know of the issues that are arising.

I want to explore the issue of discriminative laws that are being enacted in the US, that are targeting LBGTQ people. This will affect around, if not more, 13.9 million people. Those are millions of people having their rights taken away, one by one, law by law. I am sure that you are sick of hearing people blabber on about equality and discrimination in the U.S by now, but this is real. This is real, and it is being written into history as we speak.

Over 520 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced in state legislatures.

220 bills specifically target transgender and non-binary people.

And 70 anti-LGBTQ laws have been enacted so far this year.

My reason for writing this letter is because due dates are a HUGE issue for me and I couldn't keep track of it. I hope this will make teachers understand how I feel about it and what I want from them.

My audience is teachers who keep making due dates too difficult, it makes me angry. I really compare myself with homework which gets hard for me because of the due dates.

I want teachers to know this and this is serious. I want them to know why I couldn't finish my homework and explain a deal with this issue. I want them to make due dates easy so I can have more time finishing up on it and I won't get things undone anymore

My reason for writing this letter is so that people who know about ocean pollution will actually TAKE ACTION! I want people to feel for the sea creatures being affected by our mistake. I want people to read this letter and realise just how much they can do to help!

My audience is all of the people who need to be informed and be a part of the soulution.

I want to explore ocean pollution all over the world. We should be concerned about this. We are catching and eating fish that have our plastic pollution in them! Also, every year more and more sea life die because they get stuck in our plastic or eat too much of it. If our seafood reasources run out, we only have ourselves to blame!

Our purpose for writing this is to inform people and try to make a change to these outrageous prices. People who have lived their whole lives in Hawaii have to move away from here because of the prices of homes here. 

My audience for this writing is anyone interested, house companies, and mainly Governor, Josh Green.

The average price of a house in 2025 is 1.5 Million Dollars. That is a lot of money. Many people are going homeless because of no home mostly because they can't pay it off. I would like this to change. Once there are more and more homeless the streets get cluttered up by their tents and many of the items that they have.

Car taxes are getting way too expensive, becoming a burden for many drivers. Owning a car is already costly with fuel, insurance, and maintenance, but high taxes make it even worse. Many people rely on their vehicles for work and daily life, yet the rising costs make it harder to afford. It’s time to raise awareness and push for fairer car tax policies. We shouldn’t have to break the bank just to own and drive a car!

My audience is the car company around the world.

I want to explore on how much people don't have cars because the pieces are to high

I am writing this letter to ask for no homework. I hope that as a result we will get no or at leat less homework.

My audience would be the teachers who give 2-3 assignments per class. Also, the DOE to make it so we don't get so much homework.

I want the teachers to understand why I'm always tired and staying late to do the homework THEY gave. This should concern teachers because Teens need a lot of sleep, and should be able to do other stuff for fun too.

Our purpose in writing this is to warn people with animals and people who are messing with animals to be careful and treat them well. Many animals around the world are being abused by their owners or some random person.

We are writing this letter to raise awareness of how dangerous TikTok can be.

My audience is the president and users of TikTok. The relationship that we have with these people is that many of them get hurt doing these hurtful trends.

We want to explore this issue because many people get easily addicted to TikTok. We need to raise awareness for other people's mental health.

my reason for writing this letter is to expose the unfair parts of the justice system. i hope that the Supreme Court will fix their ways and be fair to everyone.

my audience is the supreme court. i have negative opinions on them due to their unfairness to people.

I want to shed some light on how the Supreme Court favors some people over others, gives sentences that should be longer/shorter, and they let terrible people off the hook.

My purpose for writing this letter is spreading awareness to pet owners on the topic of backyard breeders and unhealthy environments pets can come from. Hopefully it will convince people to stop supporting backyard breeding.

My audience is any pet owner is general. I don't really have a relationship with them.

I want to explore the issue of unhealthy environments pets come from and how to possibly stop it. It should concern people because if animals come from an unhealthy place then it can lead to being traumatized and have health issues.

the purpose for this letter is to convince people to bring recess into middle school. I hope that after reading this letter then school(s) will consider bringing back recess for middle schoolers.

my audience for this letter is the teachers and staff in my school because these are the people with the authority to bring recess into our school routine.

my issue is that schools end recess at middle school and that we should continue to have recess through middle school and not just elementary school. we should be concerned because recess is at time to socialize and be with friends. Many kids today don't know how to act around other people because they can't socialize. recess is a perfect solution to fix this problem.

I want to write a letter to people to be aware that texting while driving is dangerous and should be illegal. I hope that it does end up, perhaps in the future, illegal.

My audience is The Hawaii State Legislature and overall drivers. I don't know the Hawaii State Legislature personally. But I have parents, grandparents, and uncles/aunties who drive.

The issue? Texting while driving is dangerous for you and the drivers around you. About 400 fatal crashes happen due to this. What if this was your sibling, your parent? It's not okay to stake someone's life off of a simple text that could wait until you're parked.

We're writing this letter to raise awareness about the harmful effects social media has on kids under 12, and to encourage action to stop them from using it. We hope that as a result, we’ll see changes, like stricter rules or even banning social media for younger kids.

Our target audience is parents, teachers, and lawmakers who have the power to make decisions that affect kids lives.

3. The issue we want to explore is how social media negatively impacts mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being in children, leading to problems like anxiety and unhealthy habits. This is something we should all care about because it affects the future of our society, and we need to protect the next generation from growing up with these harmful influences.

Our reason for writing this letter is to try to stop ICE from deporting immigrants in America.

My audience for this open letter is anyone also wanting to stop ICE from deporting immigrants, and the ICE itself

I want to explore in the issue of Trump and the ICE deporting immigrants. This should concern us because many families are being ripped apart - children being snatched from schools and churches. Immigrants that are doctors helping your sick family are also being deported along with the immigrant farmers producing your food and more.

My purpose in writing this letter is to let people know that when buying products or pieces of art, whether music, a painting, or food, you must separate the art from the artist and instead appreciate and focus on the value of the product rather than the flaws in the artist.

My audience is mostly everyone but mostly targeting my sister or people like my sister because she does not listen to certain people's music just because of the person they are and not because she doesn't like the music or that she has given it a try and appreciate it for the art of it.

I want to explore music artists and influencers specifically. This should concern us because it might create a closed-off side of people because of their beliefs or ideas. This is already happening with people like my sister, who are not open enough to see the other person's side of life just because of who they are or are associated with.

Our purpose for writing this letter is to try to have more laws in place for school shooters to protect children and teens. We hope to have more laws for gun violence so it doesn't happen as much as it does.

Our audience is the people who make the laws which is Congress. My relationship with these people is with my cousins and families and their children who suffer from this.

The issue we want to explore is school shootings and gun violence in schools. This should concern people because what if that was your child or niece or nephew or someone you were related to? You would feel terrible and that's exactly how those families feel.

Our purpose for writing this letter is because we want the people to decide on building things as a community and not based on the upper classes' decisions. I hope that the people will listen to us from now on and make us apart of the government's decisions and stop listening to rich people's demands.

Our audience is anyone that makes the decisions or the one that tells the people to make buildings. Our relationship with the government is by being in their community.

My issue is that the government is leaving the rich people in charge of making rules or letting them call in shots for making buildings without our community's consent. This is concerning us on a societal level right now because they were thinking of taking down our library in Wahiawa and moving it somewhere else in Wahiawa, so that the people can use that area as a parking lot, I don't know what for exactly though.

We want to write a letter to raise awareness on how social media is damaging young teens mental health. Our goal is to have influencers change their content format to show what their life is truly like.

I am writing this letter to spread awareness and tell others how unfair big companies can be. I hope that I can convince others to talk about this topic or be able to talk to big companies like this.

My audience is homeowners, big companies, and whoever raising the prices.

I want to explore the issue of the rise of prices I want to learn why they do it, is it because of greed, or is it because they have to? I think this issue should concern people because it can happen to anyone, if any natural disaster were to happen you could lose everything and have to go through what many others are going through right now with the LA fires.

My reason for writing this is that Vail Resorts has made it almost impossible for my family to go on a snowboarding trip because of how expensive their prices are, and I am sure many others are in the same situation as my family.

My audience for this topic is any snowboarder/skier in the middle or lower class who wants to do something about these outrageous prices.

The average price for an adult at Park City, which is owned by Vail, is $278 U.S.D. This is absurd! These prices make it so a family of three would spend about $700 a day to ski at this resort. I want to change that and make resorts more affordable to families so everyone can enjoy the sport.

I'm writing this because housing prices skyrocketing is a significant issue for many people, especially those looking to buy their first home or even renters facing higher costs. Writing about it can help shine a light on how it's affecting everyday people, making others aware of the challenges many are facing

My audience is the governor josh green and housing company's

As housing prices continue to rise, many people are unable to afford homes, making it increasingly difficult to achieve homeownership. The higher prices lead to larger down payments and higher monthly mortgage costs, which many individuals simply can’t afford, especially when wages aren’t keeping up with the increase in housing costs. The limited availability of affordable homes means that even if people manage to save for a down payment, they still struggle to find something within their budget. This situation forces many people into renting, which also comes with its own high costs, preventing them from saving or investing in a home. Ultimately, the soaring prices create a significant barrier to homeownership, excluding large segments of the population, particularly first-time buyers and low- to middle-income families, from the opportunity to own a home and build long-term financial stability

I want to write a letter to the people training the lifeguards so they can teach the lifeguards to respect surfers and treat them nicely. Lifeguards are supposed to be people who represent Hawaii, and you look up to them.

My audience is the people who train the lifeguards so they can teach the lifeguards to respect surfers and people

My audience is schools because at my middle school, we don't have P.E. or recess

I want to explore the issue of whether kids need recess. Recess reduces disruptive behavior and improves social skills.

I am writing this because I want people to know that it can take a while to realize that you can be happy when you succeed.

I hope that people can realize being happy in life is a success. Owning your mind and taking care of your mental health is important to worry about, if you master that then you have achieved mental success. Now if you are mentally stable then you can do anything.

My audience is anyone who needs to hear it. If everyone can do this then everyone will be at peace.

I don't have emotional attachments to anyone or anything, but if it comes to people wanting to help themselves become better for their mental health then I would love that.

The issue I want to explore is whether we can help each other at school and improve people's mental health.

This should concern us because the reason people are so angry all the time or mean is because they don't have someone to talk to or they don't have someone they can trust to help them become a better person.
