On December 23rd 2021 Hurts was named the pro bowl NFC alternate. In the 2021 season they made it to the wild card round and he threw 258 yards and a touchdown, but he fumbled once and threw two interceptions which ended up losing him the game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-15.
