If I were on a hiring committee I would hire this individual. She listed her qualifications and mentioned how her aspects would benefit herself and others in that job. She also talks about being creative and that is a great attribute in helping others because no two people are alike. Lastly, she sounds passionate about music. The only thing I would change is if she were to mention her qualifications, possibly previous experiences.

I would like to hear more from this applicant in an interview, but since there isn't an option for that, I will say that I would like to hire her. She lists her ties to the musical industry, skills that pertain to the job and why she thinks she is a good fit for the work. However, the reason I would like to hear more from this person is because they did not list any experience or education in this field. I would love to hire this applicant, but I am wondering if it would be more appropriate to hire her as a full-time employee or as a

The way this is phrased, it sounds like you are applying for a full-time music therapist position. You did not mention anything about schooling or experience in the field of music therapy. Certification is required to be a music therapist, so that is what I would lead off with in an elevator speech. What instrument you play and your creative ability are nice points to add to a conversation, this is not crucial information into knowing if you will be a good music therapist. Discuss your education first and passion second.
