I ended up combining segmentation to separate me from the background, with 2d objects and also moving objects. Then I decided to make it interactive by adding a behavioral trigger to turn on and off the flames. I made my filter based around current social media trends, the bottom text rotates and selects a random word for the user. I think this experience was fun and allowed me a lot of creative freedom. I felt much more confident using backgrounds and head binding tools.
