Fast food restaurants are very bad for society , yet the people still buy fast food. This happens because fast food is addicting to families. Fast food is cheap, they sell their food products for low prices. So a sandwich at the grocery store can cost $6.99 and at any fast food restaurant a sandwich can cost around $2.00. For example, when families are traveling on the road, really the only restaurants that are easy access for families are fast food restaurants. People buy fast food because it is cheap but it is very unhealthy for the people and is not safe most of the time. Most Americans buy fast food because it is faster than cooking for themselves. They buy fast food more than once a week. The more these humans eat fast food the higher the risk for human health. The rate of diabetes is most likely to increase. Guaranteed increase from 522 million people with diabetes in 2030.

Fast food is very bad for the environment. Even though you don’t think it is, it really is. Tons of waste is used in their packaging, sometimes they use too much and waste a bunch of packaging. 50% of the litter you see on the streets are from fast food restaurant packaging. Some locations around the world have more litter on the streets than others and that is because of how many fast food restaurants there are in the location. Not only does fast food affect the streets it also affects climate change. Climate change is huge in the fast food industry and this is why. Beef is very popular in a lot of fast food restaurants. Beef comes from cows and cows are one of the worst agricultural products for the environment. These cows release gas into the air so that air that is released can be preceded by climate change. The gas that is released into the air is called Methane gas. Around 60% of the greenhouse gas emissions come from the meat and the dairy products from the fast food restaurants.

Fast food is very bad for the environment, but it’s nothing that the fast food industry can’t fix. This is a big problem to climate change and the fast food industry. There are some ways fast food restaurants can grow better as a whole. They can fix their packaging so they are not wasting any trash. They can also fix their restaurant by improving their meat so they are making healthier for the families and the environment. The society can help in ways but it is mainly up to the restaurant to make their decisions so it’s healthier for everyone. Fast food can damage people's health and the environment around them, so people should help fix this problem so fast food restaurants become more healthy and better for the environment!

Overall fast food restaurants are good for society but at the same time you don’t need to eat it for every meal. In my opinion fast food restaurants should still be allowed in the world, but other times cooking at home might work better and be much healthier for families. I love fast food once in a while but fast food restaurants but you can get sick of it every once in a while. Fast food is very unhealthy and bad for the environment but the restaurants are still in business and tons of people dine out and dine in every day. So with that I think fast food is good for you whenever you feel it but remember there are some disadvantages to fast food.
