Over enrolled

C213 and C209 both are over enrolled every year this is a problem. These two classrooms are very small and can only fit 28-29 student every year the class sizes are capped at 35. There is no room to put extra desk because of the small space and the potential to go against the fire code is highly likely (and will be against the fire code). Right now I have in my 3A and 4B classes has 31 students assigned with 28 desk. There is a room shortage and class shortages but something has to be done with students having no where to sit. I am wondering during scheduling can these two classrooms be locked out after they have reached the 28 student capacity mark to curb the overflow of students that are assigned in those rooms?

Afternoon announcements

Could the afternoon announcement be consistent with the timeline? Most teachers would appreciate them starting around the 4pm mark. Most students when they hear the afternoon announcements beginning they pack up their belongings and shut down although teachers are still trying to wrap up their lessons. Thank you for the consideration with this small but potentially disruptive issue.

Teachers with no where to plan

I do understand there is a space issue in our school, I also understand teachers are being displaced around the school and also there are preparations being planned to house displaced teachers during their planning periods but there are also concerns by teachers when they have to call a parent and their conversations will be overheard by others. Also if you would like to meet with students during your planning period to assist them with assignments that can not occur within the confines of a teacher's lounge area. Some teachers require a quiet space with minimal distractions where they can focus on planning, making phone calls, conducting Zoom meetings, and handling other professional or personal matters. I have a possible solution that may help make teacher planning more manageable. If we could designate a set of offices for each department, teachers from that department would have access to the space whenever they are displaced during their planning periods. This is purely just a suggestion only.
