         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>COLOMBIAN DISHES</strong><br><br>Colombian dishes are delicious and varied. The different kinds of meal in the world are the major attraction, when you going to visit other country. Commonly in the travel guide, you will find the typical restaurants. Colombia is not an exception. You can find a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and different kind of meat for diversity of weathers and it is geographic location. The Colombian gastronomy has a lot of variety of interesting recipes which are worth trying.<br><br>The cuisine is a reflection of our social history; and through this history you can see how cuisine has evolved since the past. In spite of the different cultural aspects that were developed as part of the history of Colombia and that had to do with the gastronomy, many references indicate that this gastronomy can be written as fundamentally Creole since there are few influences of Spain and African culture. We have a lot of heredity of Spain because this country brought new ingredients. They have brought seeds in boat and then planted them. Exist dishes similar to Spain, form example the rice with vegetables it is a kind of paella. When the people of Spain arrived to Colombia, they craved products obtained from wheat since then they cultivated the first seeds, due to the fact that necessary to obtain the flour, in this moment they invented the mill. As a result bread come out.<br><br>In this article, I am going to speak of different dishes that you can get in our country: <br><br>Andean Region <br>It is place in the downtown of the country, it is near to East mountains. In this region, you can find diversity weathers because it is located in different thermal floors. One famous dish of this Region is a Bandeja Paisa. This dish is nine ingredients: Rice, beans, egg, pig meat, avocado, sausage, banana and hogao.<br>This typical dish is very popular in all country and you going to find in any place. The people of Medellin are the most consumers of this dish.&nbsp; Other dish of this region is an Ajiaco; this dish is popular in Bogota and in Cundinamarca. This a kind of soup, this preparation is boiled water with chicken, corncob, potatoes, coriander and arracachas.&nbsp; Lechona is from in Tolima; this dish is a pork stuffed with meat and rice, the foreign enjoy a lot with this typical dish, because is a leather of pig, with his head. This dish commonly is served with arepa paisa.<br><br><strong>Caribbean Region</strong><br>The Caribbean Region is continental and maritime natural region. In this region, you are going to find a variety of endargered species. In this Region is common you will find fish in the dishes . The principal dish of the Caribbean region is the Sancocho, commonly based on fish and seafood, beef and chicken; these dishes are compound with bananas fried. Other typical is the cocadas, this is a dessert based in sweet coconut. The Arepa of Eggs is other typical dish, this is a kind of like a pancake with egg inside. It is crispy and delicious with it is recent made.<br><br><strong>Eastern Plains<br></strong>It is a region of intense farming activity where they were developed two bout in the independence. The economy is based in cattle breeding. One typical dish is the mamona, this meat is prepared by roasting some cuts. These dish is very typical of Eastern Plains. Other dish is the hayaca, it is a kind of tamal, it is based in flour of cob stuffed with meat pig and chicken, is common in Christmas.&nbsp;<br><br>As a result of Colombian kitchen you can fall in love, this country has a lot of variety and offers traditional recipes from the regions and their diversity of dish because you can find different weathers.</div>]]></description>
