Recording their observation in a journal is beneficial to the student and teacher. Journals reflect students' thinking and understanding.
* K-W-L charts before and after a science field trip provides the teacher and students with insight of students' prior knowledge, what they don't know, and what they have learned. It builds confidence within the student when they can track their knowledge and progress with a simple chart such as this. A field trip will motivate students to be engaged and give them the opportunity to explore outside of the classroom. 
* Group projects can be a fun and engaging way to involve students with science content. Having each student take on a specific role/responsibility during the project will encourage collaboration where students can express their ideas and learn about other ideas from their peers. During collaboration students practice scientific language and concepts.

It will increase instructional options for all students. Co-Teaching can be used to group struggling students to assist them. Different teaching styles can meet different learning needs.  Co-teaching will be beneficial for intervention and one on one time with students. Both teachers will share in collaboration, planning and classroom management.
Station teaching, I found was a good strategy to use with Transitional Kinder students. They are engaged throughout the day with multiple activities that gives them the opportunity to participate in hands-on-activities and get that small group attention from both teachers, while other stations are engaged in an independent activity. Students at this age need constant movement and opportunities to build communication with their peers.
Alternative/Differentiated Teaching: I like this type of strategy because students are being taught the same content, but in a different way to meet their needs. This is usually done at a table.
Team Teaching: I like the idea of teachers teaching together at the same time. Using this strategy brings teachers together with individual perspectives and teaching styles that can target all learners and their needs. Team teaching can be used to gain insight of student progress and struggle by two teachers' observations and perspectives.
