First, this song particularly has a great life lesson within it. The life lesson that I have learnt from listing to the song was to life my life to the fullest, and to not let anyone get in the way of that goal. Secondly, along with a great positive message the song has a great slow vibe to it. The great slow vibe is good for us, because that makes this song a longer but great karaoke song. He was born in New York City, and was raised in East Harlem. He was the youngest out of 8 children that his parents had. His parents were both from Puerto Rico, and the raised Marc as a Roman Catholic. Marc's original style of music was freestyle. He debuted his first album ever as a freestyle album 1988. He would then later change his style of music from freestyle to salsa in 1992 Once he hesitantly made that move, his career took off. From 1992 to 2002 he would have 5 songs on the top 100 billboards charts list. In July of 2013 is when he dropped his best his in my opinion Vivir Mi Vida.
