What social commentary do you think your author was making with this novel? What is the author saying or warning about today's world? I think she was trying to make the point that if our world keeps using the tech we have that our world may end up like that world. Were we all have a limit and that no one can go over it. If you do your child-oldest to youngest- will be taken to a place and could possibly never see them again. This may be the worst to happen to children. We need to stop relaying on tech and look at the world we live in.

He try to escape the building to go home to see what was going on at home. Why did they not let him go home once they went under their limit. Matt knows that he must do something to change the society they live in. They should not be given a limit. Ever kid should not be taken from their family. I feel that Matt will fix the problem that is going on. He can hack into the system making it easy for him to find the really reason they are taking kids from the family's. Keeping the kids for their work they can not do. He is going to find out the government has been lying is what I feel like.

Elements used in my book and in the odyssey are the climax. The climax of my story is Matt figures out that the government keeps him from knowing his sister is there at the same building. They do not let his emails go through. Matt soon hacks the system and finds his sister. She is on the fourth floor. Matt then decides to break out by using smoke to unlock the doors. He runs down the stairs to the fourth floor. Running like crazy from the guards. As he is screaming for his sister the girls in the hallway freak out. Once he finds her he knows something is not right with what they are telling the kids. He find out that one of the top floor girl had been moved down to the fourth floor.

Matt wants to know more about this kid and find out his name and why people have never seen him before. Matt stay walking around until almost time for lights out.

What are the common ideas taking place in your novel? In what ways do the common ideas effect your characters choices or actions?
The common ideas are powerless and questioning. Matt feels powerless because he can not go outside. He can not leave the "top floor". Matt has no way to get a hold of his parents. His emails say they are going through but they are not. Honey lady says there is no one else having that problem, but Matt does not believe her. Matt questions is this place is really doing what they say they are. He does not believe that the government is taking care of them. "What if the kids get sick do they even take them to the hospital?"

The government is controlling how family spend money. They control how much money you have in your life. They make you have payments. If you go over your limit then they take your oldest child. They take them to work off the "debt". If the kid does not compile to what the government wants then it hurts the family worse.

What theme topics are you seeing in your novel? Explain a bit how your protagonist is reacting to these topics.
Theme topics I am seeing are betrayal, rebellion and survival. Matt is feeling betrayed by the government and his family. His family has not come to get him out of where he is. He feels like the government did not give a fair chance. They did not let Matt's family choose what their punishment is. Matt feels like he must breaks the rules by running out and away from the place he is in. He feels like that is his only way to survive. He must use his brain to survive the place. Be smarter then the group.

At the beginning the protagonist is feeling trapped or that he can not escape. He can not run from the government.

My dystopian novel is not similar to anywhere i have been. This book is kinda in the future. The book government is out of the norm. They take children without an explanation. I have never read a book like this before. On page 11 the family acts like they are rich with no worries of going over their "limit". "Ill buy you anything you want too, Becca." On page 23, mom and the kids go shopping, they end up reaching over there "limit". They soon run out of the store. They drove around for awhile. When they get home the government is already there. Now its up to mom to make things better.
